100% owned by the EGL Group, Rizziconi Energia SpA is the company that built and currently operates the 760 MW thermoelectric power plant in the municipality of Rizziconi (RC) on the Gioia Tauro plain.

Built in little more than 27 months, the combined-cycle power plant operated by Rizziconi Energia SpA represents the state-of-the-art in thermoelectric technology both in the quest for energy efficiency and the minimisation of environmental impact.

The power plant is a concrete example of the commitment of the Swiss group to use solid investments backed by international project financing to obtain its own production capacity in Italy, and at the same time meet the domestic demand for energy which cannot be met by the available capacity.

Rizziconi Energia SpA has its registered and administrative headquarters in Genoa.
